KARI
My name is Karina Keshyshian. I was born and raised in a beautiful city Lviv in Ukraine.

My passion for art and videography started in an early age. Every summer I travelled to my grandparents' village and during the road I always listened to music. Everyone knows that feeling - when you listen to your favourite song and come up with a scenarios in your head. I've been doing that every single time, and once the camera was in my possesion - I thought 'Why can't I transform my vision into reality?'. And that's how it all started.
After graduating high school, my hands reached for the old camera. Since 17 years old I've been transforming all of my feelings, experiences and traumas into art. I started travelling on my own, meeting different people and discovering the world. That developed my vision and perception of everything on a new level. I perceived art as something extremely beautiful and unique, as I was gifted with this ability to transform the reality of this world into my own story. Fun fact: I've never studied anything about film and videography. I acquired all of the skills through my feelings and vision, movies and art. And I truly believe that no matter how many cameras you own, only the temperature of your inner passion matters.
As a young woman, at the age of 20 I started transforming my perception of life and art on another level. Woman, a beautiful and mysterious creature, was always the main idea of my story. I looked in the mirror and saw a whole universe. A universe creating another universe.

I based my art on 2 things - music and fashion. While it was an underlying reason, I filled every single work with my own experience.

Sex, women, love, emotion - that's the philosophy of my art. While improving my work on a technical level, I understood that my videos are a kind of performance. It's a whole storytelling, soaked with my blood, my tears, my life.
